No one who P1020480cfollows the common sense Code-of-Conduct  posted on the wall is refused. Many of our newer clients are recently laid-off workers. Others are now unemployable or belong to what is known as the working poor.

P1020532c Matchan helps people from infants to seniors. A third have virtually no income, a third are on SSI or SSD, and the remaining third have low paying jobs, either full-time or part-time.

P1020466One quarter of our clients are essentially homeless. The remaining individuals rent rooms or apartments but commonly have no or very limited cooking privileges.

The Matchan Nutrition Center P1020534ccprovides meals to people free of charge and welcomes everyone who comes to the Center for assistance.
